This webinar was the fourth in the POWER project international webinar series. It explored the theme of enhancing resilient livelihoods for women farmers, by examining the effects of climate change, the benefits of agroecology and how these intersect with women’s unpaid care work.
We heard from staff and farmers from the POWER project work in Bangladesh, to share their experiences of using agroecology practices. We also heard from GROOTS Kenya on why rural women are among the most impacted by climate change and were joined also joined by OXFAM, to learn from its REE-CALL programme in Bangladesh. The webinar was also joined by sector experts and participants from across the globe.
